LSFL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME SCHEDULED FOR JULY 21 AT SAN ANGELO COLISEUM
SAN ANGELO, TX. : As the opening week of the 2012 inaugural season for the Lone Star Football League approaches, the LSFL is pleased to announce the league’s official Championship Game will be titled “The Texas Shoot-Out.” The Texas Shoot-Out will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the San Angelo Coliseum in San Angelo, TX. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The Texas Shoot-Out will be a 2 day event and will feature exciting pre-game and halftime events as well as a Finger Football Tournament and an Iron Man Competition for children scheduled one day before the LSFL inaugural Championship Game. There will be large tailgate parties on Friday night as well as Saturday before the Texas Shootout, and The America ONE Network will also broadcast The Texas Shoot-Out on July 21.
At the conclusion of the 2012 Lone Star Football League regular season, a four-team playoff system will be launched. The top seed of the LSFL will host the #4 seed, and the #2 seed will play host to the #3 seed. The winners of both playoff games will meet in The Texas Shoot-Out for an opportunity to play for the 2012 Lone Star Football League Championship.
Further announcements in terms of Texas Shoot-Out ticket prices, pre-game and halftime events will be made at a later date.
