Lone Star Football League

The LONE STAR FOOTBALL LEAGUE is operated out of San Angelo, Texas with 1st year Commissioner Darlene Jones,who  started in sports management over 7 years ago, owner and operator of the San Angelo Stampede Express Indoor Football team.  Darlene experience great success on and off the field.  She served as President of numerous executive committees through several indoor professional football leagues, the most recent being the IFL.  She was also named executive of the year 3 of those years.  Darlene was privileged to be mentored through some very experienced people in the sports business and  says she will always be indebted to those indivuals who are still in operations running some very successful leagues.

She believes the methods for success is surrounding herself with quality people and empowering them to do their jobs.  She feels the LSFL has put together an outstanding league staff and they all share in the excitement and enthusiasm that she has for the continued development of the LSFL and indoor football.
Darlene has 1 daughter and 2 beautiful grandsons.   Her daughter has also been very successful in sports and business also.  She not only played College Volleyball but helped Darlene run the San Angelo Stampede Express and General Manager,  while helping run 2 other business not related.  

Darlene is very excited and look forward to the bright future of the LSFL
